Weleda Chestnut Shampoo is ideal for the intensive but gentle care of normal hair, promoting strong healthy growth. Extracts of Horse chestnut seeds and pure essential oils help to stimulate the natural processes in the hair. Lanolin is included to help prevent dryness of the scalp after washing and give the hair a fine protective film leaving it looking healthy and shiny.

Form: A thick aqueous mixture with mild biodegradable detergents

Presentation: 100ml (lacquered) metal tube with carton

Ingredients: Water (Aqua), Sodium Laureth Sulphate*, Lauryl Glucoside, Disodium Laureth Sulphosuccinate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Horse Chestnut (Aesculus Hippocastanum) Extract, Fragrance (Parfum): natural essential oils (Juniper, Lavender, Pine Pinus pumilo, Rosemary, Siberian Fir), Lanolin, Ascorbic Acid, Sodium Chloride, Sodium Carbonate, Alcohol, Malt Extract.

(* Sodium Laureth Sulphate is a mild bio-degradable detergent originally from coconut oil authorised by INCI and should not be confused with Sodium Lauryl Sulphate (SLS) which is a much stronger detergent more suited to domestic or industrial cleaning.)

Directions for use:
When? Washing the hair every four to five days gives the scalp enough time to restore its natural protection.

How? Weleda Chestnut Shampoo is a highly concentrated shampoo so very little of it is needed. The amount needed will vary according to the length and type of hair. As a guide - for short, normal hair a measure as big as a ten pence coin is sufficient. Spread the shampoo on to wet hands and apply evenly over wet hair. (Use lukewarm water throughout.) Pre-wash the hair, rinse and re-apply shampoo. Massage the scalp well with the fingertips until the skin tingles a little. Rinse. Gently pat hair as dry as possible with a towel. If using daily, pre-washing is not necessary.

N.B.: Avoid contact with the eyes. If the shampoo does get in the eyes rinse out with lukewarm water. Not recommended for babies.
