The Quiet Heart - Peter GruenewaldThe Quiet Heart

Putting Stress in its Place
by Dr Peter Gruenewald

The Quiet Heart - Dr Peter Gruenewald: It is easy to feel overcome by everyday situations that modern life throws at us. Today's world is so fast-living and geared to achievement that unhealthy levels of stress are widespread, resulting in related disorders, such as migraines, insomnia and hypertension.

The Quiet Heart describes a highly effective approach to personal management of stress and emotions, using heart-based exercises. Using Dr Gruenewald's system, it is possible to deal with many forms of stress, anxiety, anger and depression without drugs or psychotherapy. The benefits of these easily practised exercises are usually felt within days.

Dr Gruenewald's revolutionary approach, named HeartSpheres, is based on new medical research and insights from holistic medicine. Case studies record the results the author has witnessed as clients apply these techniques and regain power over their lives and feelings.

This book is an essential read for anyone who wants to take their physical and emotional health into their own hands, rather than leaving them exclusively in the hands of a health professional or a psychotherapist.
