Weleda Bidor 1% is an anthroposophic medicine
for the prevention and symptomatic relief of migraine. For acute
migraine attacks in adults, a course of
Weleda
Bidor 5% is recommended.
Ingredients: Each 200mg tablet
contains: Ferrous sulphate monohydrate 0.8mg; Silica 0.32mg. Also
contains Maltodextrin, Sucrose, Lactose and Vegetable binders

Directions for
use: Adults: 1 tablet, swallowed with water, 3
times daily to help prevent the development of a migraine headache. Continue
for 2-12 weeks according to the severity of the condition.
Children (6-12 years): 1 tablet, swallowed with water, every
2 hours, up to a maximum of 4 tablets per day for the treatment of
headaches

Ingredient Rationale:
Ferrous sulphate monohydrate is a combination of Sulphur and
Iron help to regulate the metabolic and digestive processes and
bring balance to the rhythmic (heart, lungs and circulation) system.
Silica (Quartz). A mineral making up 12% of the earth's
crust. Flints from the common quartz, a colourless crystal, are
used. Silica is suggested in homeopathy for illnesses as a result of
a weakened immune system.
Maltodextrin is a glucose polymer composed of a mixture of
dextrin and maltose prepared by the limited hydrolysis of starch. It
is used as a tablet binding agent.
The Sucrose is from Cane Sugar.
Lactose also called milk sugar is obtained from the whey of
milk.
The vegetable binders are tablet binders based on vegetable
oils and spray dried Acacia.
