The
Apocalypse of Saint John
by Emil Bock
Few people read the last,
culminating book of the New Testament, the Book of Revelation or
Apocalypse of Saint John.. It is often regarded as dealing in harsh, mysterious
language, with problems of the early Christian Church, which are now
irrelevant. However, Emil Bock shows how the whole Bible helps us to
interpret Saint John's rich, concentrated pictorial language and how
through these powerful images we can then see the great challenges
of current and future human spiritual development.
This book is much more
than a detailed commentary on the Apocalypse; it is a profound and
encouraging examination of the present and future spiritual needs of
mankind, which shows that in the Revelation to John we can find an
understanding of the being of Christ as leader of mankind and as one
who is essential to the evolutionary progress of humanity.
